Hmm, I got an opportunity to go to Tokyo in June. Problem is I have to come up with a short film idea to participate for the event in tokyo. Not my forte anyway of storytelling. Have to comeup with some plesant idea. Ask wife tonight :)

Masters Thesis

Its been too long that I have delayed my Master's thesis. I have finally registered the topic last November which means I have 1 year from that time to complete it. Its time to start my work on my thesis or else it will never be done! after today, i have to regain motivation to get it done. especially its pretty relaxing in office until the next big project comes in.

Just watched the NY Philharmonica in Pyongyang on CNN. Arirang was interesting. Anyway, it was a historic event for the North Koreans.

finland on week17

18 march is our teamday, so schedule to go to finland on week17. Not decided yet how long I will stay. Depends what wife says anyway. Anyway, have to message to Sintaro that I would like to take march holiday for my korean classes. Then we will have more time for the weekend to do something.

the weekend

started off when i celebrated sunju brithday at gourmet house. perhaps one of the best korean food and restaurant we have eaten. price was not so bad, about 70,000 KRW for the 2 of us. Sadaki then just arrived in Seoul for the weekend to attend Buyoong weding. He came to our house after having dinner we Buyoong and tobe husband. Buyoong was to have her wedding the following day. In a change of plan, Buyoong and then Misook came over to our house to spend the night. Then came Saturday, I went early to my Korean class and skipped the last hour to rush to the wedding in Seoul National University. Just in time for the wedding. Ciyu and Buyoong look very well dressed and almost perfect for the ceremony. After the wedding, Together with Sunju club friends and Sadaki we headed off to namdaemun to see the destroyed gate. Work went pretty quick after a few weeks ago an old arsonist burned down the gate. We went BBQ later on and then back home. On Sunday, Sadaki left in the afternoon to meet an English friend before heading off to Japan. We had dinner with sunju mum and sister in my favourite sushi place. Unagi there is the best. Its nearby COEX mall in Samseong dong. We then went to COEX mall hoping if there is iron man in the cinema, unfortunately not. So had some drink in smoothie king before heading back home. Called up my parents to check when they are going to Mekah. Probably in between puasa and raya. And that was my weekend.

Nazri's Place

Finally got accommodation in Tioman - Nazri's Place. Quite reasonable price. We took the budget room (RM80) for 2 nights since the seaview is fully book during Chinese New Year holiday. And later move to the seaview chalet for the following 3 nights (RM120). Sounds quite reasonable. Next is to find dive center for the course. Trying to get less than RM800 for beginner course. Lets see, I am happy the flight and accomodation is all settled now.

Look at the variety of panchans they gave in the mushroom "shiktang" at gyeryeongsan national park! I heard they even have more in Jeolla-do.

Back to Malaysia for 3 weeks

Finally got confirmation for my vacation. Will be back in Malaysia from 26 Jan - 15 Feb. Planning to take a nice beach rest and honeymoon in Tioman Island.

Buyeo during New Year Eve

31st Dec 2007, we were at buyeo which was our last escapade to Korea's countryside. During the New Year weekend long vacation, we visited Daejoon, Yuseong Spa, Gyeryeongsan mountain, Gongju the site of King Munyung tomb and Buyeo the last capital of Bakje Dynasty.
